Harold “Skip” Plant serves as creative 
director and principal producer for Water-
Mark Video Inc.  His experience spans 
more than twenty-five years in the televi-
sion industry with national credits on ABC 
and NBC news, commercial distribution 
on the four major networks, several series 
and specials on PBS, and many nationally 
and internationally distributed corporate 
video presentations.  His early career 
positions include Technical Director for 
WGN's “Chicago Cubs Baseball,”  Chief 
Engineer for a 24-track recording studio, 
and, prior to forming WaterMark Video in 
1981, Producer/Director, then Director of  
Production and Operations, for WITF-TV, 
Public Television in Hershey, PA. 
His career as producer/director began with an Emmy nomination for “Carnival of Animals,” classical music for children, produced on location and simulcast in stereo.  Many award-winning series, music specials and documentaries followed. His work has been recognized with the "Dove" and "Angel" Awards, the New York Film Festival Silver Award, two "Addy" Awards, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting Cultural Program Commendation, a Cine Golden Eagle and the highest honor awarded by the National Schools Public Relations Council.

         

 

HD shooting continues on the "Star Barn" documentary. Four-season footage combined with archival stills and expert commentary will trace the history and significance of this structure and its unique design. Shooting through 2010 will include the preservation and reconstruction of the Star Barn as an iconic landmark anchoring Agrarian Country, an agricultural exposition center currently under development.  (hi-def, 58:00, stereo)

For the recent Butler Manufacturing Northern Region Sales Meeting at the Waterfront Marriott on Baltimore's Inner Harbor, WaterMark Video provided production services including pre-produced video segments and graphics in HD, HD projectors, screens and video switching, HD live video and multiple playbacks, multi-channel wireless mic's, set design, fabrication and lighting.

Final revisions have been made to 21st Century Appraisal's public information and education DVD produced by WaterMark as part of the current real estate reassessment project in Lackawanna County.
